Who, me?
I am either a nice, helpful contributor here, or the most vile thing that ever crawled through the bilous brown on your screen, depending entirely on your own point of view.
Because, really--well not really, but virtually at least, which is as real as it gets when you try to have craic with a scattering of pixels--this is just a screen persona, sound and flurry, a blip in cipherspace.
So why waste your time here when you could be playing tunes, swilling pints, and scoping out the cute puddle of DNA mouthing a flute down at your local?
(P.S. Having participated on this board since the beginning (using my real name), I now prefer to remain somewhat anonymous because there are too many maroons here who challenge you to reveal something about yourself just so they can use it against you and bury your inbox with whacked vulgar emails. Nothing personal against you, dear reader.)
FWIW, I've played Irish fiddle for nearly 30 years, dabbled with mandolin and tenor banjo, and am recently enjoying feeling tunes vibrate in my Hammy Hamilton flute. I help keep two weekly sessions running in my small town. Never enough time in a day.
Here are some lists of my best guessses at the "most widely played" sessions tunes, with help from other members:

I don't usually record myself, so clips of just me playing are rare. Here's me on fiddle (light brown pants, dark brown tee-shirt) at a house session in May 2008 playing A Night in Ennis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJljaWNhzgM
And here are a few quick and dirty clips recorded in one take each in my kitchen, June 17, 2008: http://www.soundlantern.com/UpdatedUser.do?UsName=willcpt&UsId=1131
I'll try to get more clips up in the future.
