The times they had…

Hmm… no one’s commented on this awesome album yet? Well, let me be first to say: excellent music, crazy-bad album cover. I can’t find a suitably hi-res image on teh internets to do it justice, so I’ll have to describe it to you:

You are floating in space…
You see a cluster of galaxies and nebulae and whatnot…
Before you appears, inexplicably, a window…
Through the window you see—blue sky…
Silhouetted against the sky is a scrawny, leafless tree…
Soaring over the tree is a curiously bloated space-rocket…
From which flies the flag of… not Ireland…but Italy.

I think there were probably quite a few fans of freak-out psychedelic rock who were disappointed to bring this album home only to find that it actually contained traditional Irish music of the first order. Perhaps we gained a few converts this way?
