Kevin is Junior Crehan's grandson, and in this CD (which he planned and partly produced together with Junior) he attempts to preserve his grandfather's legacy. All tracks are by J.C., and he got to choose how they were put together. The sound is incredible, just solo violin, not too fast, just beautiful.
I believe the album name means "The Baby In The Pram" (who happens to be another Junior Crehan, Kevin's own son).
I have been trying to find a copy of his CD "An Bhabog Sa Bhadog" with no luck at all. Sorry to post here (vs. Recordings) but the links to KC's website in the discussion thread are broken there have been no posts to that entry in the last four years and the only email address I found for him is also out of date. Found no weblinks to the record label (JA Records, btw not JA' Records the reggae label)
Can anyone offer me a clue how to reach KC himself or get a copy of the CD?

Actually I have just received information that Kevin has some the cost is $18 +$2 S/H. Anyone who wants one contact me and I'll send a list off to Kevin. He will be out of the country for the next month though as there is a bereavement in the family as I stated earlier.
By the way Kevin Krell, I don't mean to step on your toes and I hope I have not offended you in any way. I am a friend of another member of the family, Liz Crehan Anderson and it was that friend that died so this is rather a painful subject for me as it is. Liz taught me so much about the Irish traditions, the music and she even found time to teach me the language. She was a true representative and embassador for Irish culture in the Philadelphia area and she will be sorely missed in our circles.

Kevin Crehan has been to our local sessions here in Los Angeles, and we've chatted about Junior's tunes (a few compositions were used on the "Wooden Flute Obsession" CDs), Bobby Casey, and about Kevin's CD. Since I put out the WFO CDs, he was interested in the CD replicator I use for re-issuing his own CDs. He's either found a few more copies, or gone ahead with a re-print, I don't know which. I haven't seen him since the Southern California Uillean Piper's Club Tionol last October. I was actually attempting to shield the family from any bother at this time, also so soon after we lost PJ Crotty.
I lost track of this thread and was unaware of the situation in the Crehan family. In the meantime, shortly after posting the start of this thread I did locate his current email and contacted him and he graciously sent me instructions concerning the CD.
He has more copies, he says. And after he's back in the country will be time enough to get a copy I'm sure.
This is a really pure fiddle album. It's nothing but fiddle. Kevin's style goes back to the old Clare tradition and he tries to recreate the atmosphere of his grandfather Junior Crehan's music. At least one of Junior's compositions features on every track. The music is well paced and great to listen to. As it says in the sleeve notes, Junior never liked playing too fast. At the end of a set which was too quick for his liking he would sneak in a comment like "Who won the race?".
