Dog Leap Stairs - Alistair Anderson
Good call. This is one of the tunes for which I have a copy of the original manuscript, where it is titled simply "3/2 tune in G". There must have been no changes to the tune between its manuscript form and the album, because it is exactly as transcribed here note for note. The manuscript does have what appears to be harmonies written underneath, and these are as follows:
Harmony 1:

The final version recorded by AA with the Steel Skies Band has four independent harmony parts in addition to the original tune!
Dog Leap Stairs
A really engaging little tune, playing nimble games with the 3/2 rhythm in a way that makes it a bit tricky to learn, but isn’t mere wackiness, IMO anyway.
