The Boys Of The Town jig

So here’s another tune by this name… searching "The Boys Of The Town" gives 11 pages of hits at present. I hope I haven’t missed this one. :)

However, I transcribed it from "Ancient Irish Music" by P. W. Joyce (Dublin, 1906), No. 91.
Dmix is kind of my current favourite key, so I liked it.

I’m sure this is an old version of "The Green Fields of Woodford": http://thesession.org/tunes/4070 The second part is also reminiscent of "Tell Her I Am": http://thesession.org/tunes/161 All the three tunes probably have the same origin.
