Master Andrew Grant (Balmoral) C: “Sandy” Skinner.

A reel from The Skye Collection, attributed to Alexander Forbes Skinner (1833-1883), an elder brother of James Scott Skinner. There is a tune in the database by Scott Skinner in honour of "Sandy" who started James off on the road to notoriety by teaching him the fiddle, and vamping on the cello. The crotchets at the end of each section are printed as quavers in The Skye Collection, so they have been changed here to fit the metre.
