I found this in Harding’s Collection of Jigs and Reels. There have been several editions, each with a significant number of deletions and new additions. I’ve only seen the original edition on the internet. "The Chopman" comes from a later edition. It has a familiarity to it that is reminiscent of other reels I’ve heard and may very well be among the tunes already on The Session under another name. I’m a fingerstyle guitar player so, for my own use, I dropped it to Cm for an alternate tuning. I’d be very interested in learning of any other titles for it. I used to play a reel that was quite similar but I’ve forgotten both the tune and the name.
A quite similar reel is in O’Neill’s as "The Man With The Money":

Thanks for the heads-up on this one, Sebastian. You’re right; quite similar. could make for a nice medley or variations on one or the other depending on which title one chooses.
This is probably a version of John Cheap the Chapman: http://thesession.org/tunes/9669
