Kobo Daishi Henji Kongo

Composed by renowned Irish guitarist John Murphy after he visited a Japanese Buddhist temple. The title translates I believe to ‘Morning Sunrise’. Played slowly with feeling, not a polka. From the CD Flerieu Sessions.

Translation

Kobo Daishi was the founder of the biggest branch of Japanese buddhism. Henji means "reply" and Kongo means "future". So "The founder of Japanese Buddhism’s future reply?" or コボ大師返事今後
