Eley’s

A tune I wrote for my beautiful partner Elley. We were sweethearts in high school at the tender age of 16/17 yrs, then went our separate ways and had our own beautiful families. At 50 both our marriages had run out of steam, and I had a very strong feeling of wanting to connect with Elley again, in fact I nearly rang her several times. One day I got onto the computer and Elley had sent me an email, asking me to play at her 50th birthday party. Elley wrote me two beautiful poems when we were in High School. I wrote Elley’s Waltz as a present for her 50th birthday. I still had the two poems Elley had written me. We have been partners now for the last two and a half years, and life is great. Hope you enjoy playing the tune.

Howdy, I like this tune muchly and maybe would like to play it with my band, but how do I credit you? Do I just say here’s a dandy ditty from down under?
Thanks for all the work you put into this site.
Michael

A ‘dandy ditty from down under’ sounds great. It’s a great site for trad musos.
