The Mystery

I was taught this in a workshop by Brian Finnegan. The origin of the name is a bit of a tale (one I’m not sure how much of was made up… you know musicians).

He apparently heard this tune on a voicemail message somebody left him while they were in a session and liked it so much that he learned it. To this day he has no idea who wrote it, what its original title was, or even who it was who left him the voicemail in the first place, so he called it the Mystery Jig.
