The Blackhaired Lass
Keko, where’d you get the "Blackhaired Lass" title (which applies more commonly to a reel, also posted on The Session)? Just curious….
Duplicated

This is on one of the CCE Foinn Seisiun CDs as "Ryan’s".
“Ryan’s” of the bottomless well
The list of tunes with "Ryan" attached to them is endless, including compositions by Sean Ryan that he gave names to himself… CCE, like all of us, sometimes doesn’t manage to make the right connections. Someone learned it from someone who learned it from someone who thinks they may have learned it from a ‘Ryan’, maybe Sean, maybe someone else? :-/
