This is a wonderful tune that shows up in our session occasionally, and I’m hooked on it. I’m a little surprised it isn’t here already, but I’ve checked the tunes and Googled the ABC and can’t seem to find it…. The Portland Collection attributes it to Dan Compton.
Composer Dan Compton’s other efforts ~
~ including the 12 volumes of his "Irish Session Repertoire" CDs, the results of his teaching in the Pacific Northwest ~ Portland, Oregon. Also here you’ll find his recording "The Walk Home: Fiddle Tunes by Dan Compton"…
“The Punter’s Graveyard”
~ a couple of accidentals passing through there late one night…
