Johnny Ward’s

Another highland from Vincent Campbell from the album ‘The Brass Fiddle’. This is the first in the set, followed by
"Paddy Bartley’s" http://www.thesession.org/tunes/6606

From the sleeve notes: "Johnny Ward was a fiddler from Gageen Hill in the Croaghs, a mountainour region of great beauty between Glenties and Ballybofey"

This appears on Fisherstreet’s "Out In The Night" as a reel in D, along with the Beauty Spot, which they also transpose down to Amix from it’s original key of Dmix:

X: 1
T: Johnny Ward’s
M: 4/4
L: 1/8
R: reel

Transposed into G, that becomes:

M: 4/4
L: 1/8
R: reel
S: Fisherstreet (transposed)
