This comes from WV fiddler Melvin WIne and I just did this from memory, but I think the basic tune is there OK. He did a lot of nice drones on the low G string and D on his fiddle.

nigelg’s got me thinking about this tune.

I put in as a highland because I can’t say its a reel, Melvin played it with a nice syncopated bounce and the 2nd part::

|: B3A B2A2 is played while holding the G note on the low G string. (From what I remember of the recording.


Melvin was a fiddler… the high e is unisoned on this tune. Ill try to link a recording.


Now that I listen to the recording, I see where some ABC’s could be changed… lota of droning and syncopation there that goes beyond my ABCing. Anyway, hope some of you like it.
