This is from the New England Fiddler's Repertoire. I haven't been able to find it elsewhere, so I can't say much about its origin except that the title has a nice Irish ring about it.

Cattle
I think there must be something about New Enlgland people, that they can't keep control of their Cattle. I found this tune whilst searching for one called "The cattle in the cane", which is completely different to this tune.
