Mrs Crehan's
first heard it by Mary Bergin on her 1st recording. recorded also by Matt Molloy & Sean Keane, and Davy Spillane. Some Scottish pipers play it too, and I think it was recorded by "Wolfstone". Plays well in A on the whistle too.

Yes, Wolfstone plays it but they play a different version of it. Nice tune though

1st part looks similar to drowsy maggie.

A different ending
Playing the last two bars as |DEGA ~B2 BA|dBAc BG GF| and 'digging in' to the first D note in the second-last bar helps me get the momentum to launch into the first part again.
The tune also gets played as AA BB (repeating each 8 bars) , e.g. on James Keane's recorded version.

The Chocolate Reel
I call this "The Chocolate Reel" because at the end of the B part you can hear the jingle from the 1960s for Nestlies Chocolate.
N - E - S - T - L - E - S ... Nestlies makes the very best...

How do you like that... I didn't spell it right, but I got the jingle right. Blame it on the scotch. *hic*
