"Blink" / "Tuatha De Danann" ~ a rescued duplication with interest

Why? some might ask. Well, I am always intrigued by differences, including in how we listen, what we percieve through that sense, and I quite enjoyed the 3-3-2 perception that the contributor had on this, and their very different transcription, as compared to what is already here. I also gave it a Balkan treatment and enjoyed that, if slightly different note wise. So, for others to check it out, and not meant to embarrass the contributor, here it is...

Hi, this is my transcription of "Tuatha De Danann", a tune performed by the Flook band, which you can hear on the "Excalibur II" CD. Which means this is NOT a reel, but the site would not let me enter anything else. The beat is 3 + 3 + 2 ( = 8 ).

The original tune is played on a Eb whistle, so it should be F dorian, but I wrote it there in E dorian so that it is easily readable, just read & play it on a Eb whistle like if you were holding a D whistle in your hands.

There's some mistakes for sure in there, and plenty of ornementations to insert. The tempo is quite fast; if you play in ( 1/16 ) it's something like 123.

If so (and I think you do), then it's definitely a reel, albeit cool and syncopated and everything, and it's already up here as Lough Mountain (this original transcription)

Duplicated and misnamed ~ You're right, Joe. This is definitely a reel, and someone has already posted a better transcription of it. And I doubt "Tuatha Dé Danann" is the correct title of the tune. Possibly the title of the track on which they play? Flook actually recorded the tune as "Blink" on their album "Flatfish":
