Patsy Geary's
We had a request for this tune, so here 'tis.
I transcribed it in 6/8 as a single jig, though it certainly fits well into the long phrasing of a slide.
I knew this tune years ago but quit playing it because the second half didn't stir me at all. I recall doing turns on those fs in the first two bars of Part B, or playing them: |f2 e ~f3|fge fga| and also |f2 e def|fge fga|.

Patsy Geary's - The Yellow Rose of Texas?!?
Well how about that? I just learned this one via osmosis, too much listening to The Bothy Band. I hope on here just out of curiosity, and...The Yellow Rose of Texas, what a riot.
Fits perfectly too on the A part:
"There's a yellow rose in Texas, that I am going down to see,
No other fellow loves her, as half as much as me.
She cried so when I left her, it nearly broke my heart
And if I ever find her, we never more will part."

Hey, you're in Florida, and, I take it, in the deep, deep South ~ Texas is a completely other state of mind.
