The Woods Of Old Limerick
I associate this fine jig with the playing of Declan Masterson, who recorded it with “Patrick Street”.
It is sometimes played in the key of “D”.

The Woods of Old Limerick
Thanks for posting this interesting jig. I first heard it at a session played by the Mulcahy sisters of Co. Limerick. It's now one of my favourite tunes and lends itself well to the concertina.

Whistle teachers take note, this looks like a good tune for students who need work on their high c.

A nice version of this tune is found on track 9 of Liam Bradley's cd "100% Pure Irish Dance - The Show"
