No, this tune isn't about one of our less popular members leaving the session.org in a hurry....
I transcribed this off fiddler Gerry O'Connor's "Journeyman" cd. It's the first in a great set of slides and goes into Lancer's (different than those previously posted here by that name--I'll get around to it tomorrow), and Tickle Her Leg with the Barley Straw (aka Get Up Old Woman and Shake Yourself).
Gerry and his son Donál do the set as a duet on fiddles, and they play with a well-matched swing that brings these relatively simple tunes to life.
