Fairy Queen
This tune is not the Turlough O'Carolan planxty already listed here at the session - it is a pretty fun hornpipe though. It came to us from Scotland & is often played as a highland fling (AKA Strathspey". I picked it up from the playing of Chris McGrath & Co. of RI, they were playing for set dancers & paired it with the "Miss Galvin's"

I think they make a great set.

There's a Scoiltrad lesson for this one (intermediate level whistle).

As happens to a lot of these, this is also played as a single reel, without the 'swing'. Here's another take on it:
T: Fairy Queen, The ~ I had another name for this one but the memory cells aren't firing, later maybe...
M: 4/4
L: 1/8
R: highland fling / single reel

The Fairy Queen
I got this tune off a friend a few years ago. I play it double - 32 bars - and I think I play it more like a sort of slow reel than a hornpipe.

The Fairy Queen Hornpipe
This was a popular box tune back in the sixties. I seem to remember that some box player, maybe Kieran Kelly, used to play a hornpipe selection that we all wanted to copy. The hornpipes were the Golden Eagle and The Fairy Queen. The Fairy Queen was played in C.
