Re: Bouzouki chord patterns

Here’s some two-finger jobs that’s fun and easy to go up and down the neck with.

Pattern alpha for Key of G
0010
2030
4050
5070
7090
90(10)0

Pattern beta for Key of D
7400
9500
(11)700
(12)900

You can of course also move pattern alpha up 7 frets for the key of D, or move pattern beta down 2 frets and over to the D and A strings for the key of G.

If any of the Zoukmasters here will contribute with more of this stuff, it will be greatly appreciated! :)

Re: Bouzouki chord patterns

I’m no zoukmaster, but I’ve just tuned a mandolin to GDAD and come up a couple of fragments:

7000 (D)
6700 (A/C#)
4500 (G/B)
2400 (D/A)

0550 (G)
0450 (D/G)
0230 (C/G)
0020 (G)

Take the Soup ?

By the way, Saint, I agree with the first reply ; there’s a wealth of chords on Han Speek’s site.

Zan McLeod dvd is very good but requires a fair grasp of music theory. I have found quite a few useful chords by adapting chords found in DADGAD tutorials.
