Printing problem

In the past few days whenever I print a tune, the staff prints in red and the notes in black. There does not seem to be a problem with my printer. Has anyone else experienced this?

No, but why not just select B/W rather than colour when you print (solves the problem and is cheaper on ink!)

This is what I have been doing but it is a nuisance as the selection has to be made each time and sometimes slips past my memory. Thanks anyway.

It really does sound as if it’s your printer that’s at fault. Strange things sometimes occur when an ink cartridge is getting low. If you haven’t already tried it - try running the utilities on your printer to clean the heads etc and do a test print afterwards. 🙂

Tried the cleaning bit but will buy a new cartridge and see from there. If not successful I will contact manufacturer’s tech support..

I have just installed a new colour cartridge and the problem has gone away. It doesn’t make sense but the colour cartridge showed empty but still provided red ink for the staffs, yet would not print a coloured document. Go Figure!
