When was the last Session e-mail ?

I’m registered to receive The Session e-mails which used to arrive frequently but I’ve now not had one for about a couple of months. Are they still happening?

I’ve received a few in the last couple of months - maybe you should check your spam inbox (if you have one)

What session emails?

I think kayeselle is referring to the “subscription” email updates (if you go to your profile page, there’s a subscribe button)

I’ve hunted through Spam and all other boxes in case it got miss-directed but there’s no sign. I also checked my “blocked addresses”.

It’s possible that your email provider has an anti-spam system on its servers which is chucking stuff out before it can even reach your computer. Have you talked to Jeremy about this?

That could be possible but it must have been a change in the last couple of months as I used to get them OK.
First time I told J he said I controlled if I got them or not.
I then explained some of the details as above but I think he must have gone away over Christmas/ New Year as he’s not got back yet.

PS. I use Yahoo and Hotmail: has anyone had recent Session emails through these ?

Two experiments:
1) create a throwaway gmail account, and direct your session mail to that, making sure the updates are on. Then see if you’re getting them.
2) I’ve just sent a test email through your member page. Did you get that?
That’ll help narrow down the problems, I think.

And also for yous Jon. I did not get your test email but the idea gave me a nudge for something I could check. I had already looked in my blocked addresses for “thesession.org” and found it had not been blocked but I went back and found in another section of the list “someone@thesession.org” had been blocked. This probably accounts for your message not making it to me and I would be very pleased if you could try again now I have removed that block.
It may also allow the weekly Session emails through but I don’t have any saved ones to check the sender address. Time will tell. I’ll let you know.

I’m not getting mine either since September. Jeremy’s suggestion of reregistering did not get it. What gives ??

Sent this to your g-mail add then thought you may be looking here first :

When I sent you the last message via the website I ticked the box for it to send me a copy.
Now I have your reply from the website but I’ve not received my copy.
I think I ’d better go back to hotmail’s blocked list and scour it to see if they’ve managed to block any other bits of thesession communication…..
Can’t see anything in blocked list and now seems hauke’s lost his about the same time as I did.
I’m lost again

Seems to be Hotmail thats been screwing things up as I’ve just switched to an alternative address which works fine
