Does someone recognizes this tune?

Re: Does someone recognizes this tune?

On their website it’s called "Scottish Senso Nom Spasuttle", but they’re Italian, so I think it means that it’s a Scottish without name "spasuttle", whatever a "spasuttle" is… Maybe a strathspey?

Re: Does someone recognizes this tune?

Defintely not a strathspey; plus not Irish, sounds French to me.

Re: Does someone recognizes this tune?

A spasuttle is one of those triangular rocket ships that goes up to fix the Hubble Telescope.

Re: Does someone recognizes this tune?

These are two tunes BTW, at 3’23 the second tune starts.

Re: Does someone recognizes this tune?

Hey guys,

Hoping you’d be able to help me with this one, and I feel like such an idiot for asking because it’s played often enough. I know many tunes, but can’t remember their bloody names so this is why I’m asking for this one!

The one I want the name for is at 3:29. It’s played by an Irish group called Finore, and this was recorded at the Festival Club at CC ‘09. I didn’t record this, but I was there, and they were amazingly tight.

Cheers

FAO JasperN,
I can definitely hear ‘Lost in the Loop’ ; a tune written by Liz Carroll on a CD of the same name. Search ABC’s and sheet music.

Re: Does someone recognizes this tune?

Thanks for that, Bogman, really helps!
