Robert Nairn - or other Scottish accordion players

Has Robert Nairn, Scottish 3 row Accordion player, ever recorded music on CD?

I saw him playing at the Pan-Celtic Festival in Dingle earlier this year and got my first proper introduction to Scottish music (and drinking culture :p).

If he hasn’t recorded, can somebody recommend a few great Scottish accordion players please…ceili band/dance style stuff by the way.

Re: Robert Nairn - or other Scottish accordion players

Sandy Coghill (I think I’ve got the name right) put out an album called “Oot The Box”, played on three-row button accordion, in the Eighties I think. Definitely good and worth a listen should you ever come across it.

NB - Coghill’s album is definitely the ceilidh-type stuff you want. He is or was in some well-known ceilidh band - I think it was the Wallochmor.
