Vincenzo Di Mauro Flutes

Vincenzo Di Mauro Flutes

Was curious if anyone has any experience with his Flutes ?
He makes the standard 5 piece copy of an RR Flute in both Wood and Delrin, although I’m more interested in his student model Flute. its more compact, not as long and has the integral foot.
His prices seem real good.
Any comments on his standard Flutes or the student model Flute?

Re: Vincenzo Di Mauro Flutes

I know a few people who play his flutes - both keyed wood and unkeyed delrin models. I find his quality to be very good, and most important - the flutes were all very easily played with good strong tone. I visited his workshop in Galway this summer, and saw some of the new student flutes - very nice indeed. I surely recommend.

Yes, still doing excellent work and reasonably priced (workshop now moved up to Renmore, just outside the town)
