Name this tune

Re: Name this tune

bothy1932, that’s a nice jig, well played by Ms Ward. I dug around a little and found a source on Chiff and Fipple that credits the tune to Joe Liddy, Co. Leitrim fiddler. Liddy called it The Brickyard.

Here’s the transcription from Chiff and Fipple (note that Lisa Ward’s playing differs significantly from this):

T: Brickyard (The)
M: 6/8
L: 1/8
C: Joe Liddy
S: "The Leitrim Fiddler" (Dublin 1981)

Re: Name this tune

And here’s my transcription of Lisa Ward’s playing the first time around the tune. Her setting seems to have three parts. And note that it’s in G Dorian, not G major.

T: Brickyard, The
