Nice one Jim.
I was blessed to play with Tommy many times when I lived in the North East of England.
Sometimes there’d be sessions with Tommy, Patrick Knight and Mick Moriarty at The Gallowgate Irish Centre on a Monday night, just the four flutes, and the music just flowed.
all the best

Thanks for that Jim. The samples sound good!
Check out Michael Clarksons site he has some great tunes and plays them once slow and then at the correct speed an absolute must for flute players follow the link http://irishflute.podbean.com/
Thanks for that Jim -- nice playing there.
Fine flutist indeed, Jim.
I like a lot of his phrasing, a bit distinctive IMHO, as in I might pick him out of a crowd.
Track 7 is interesting, listed as “The Old Walls Of Liscarroll”.
Not the same as listed here in “Tunes”, nice tune though.
Any other names for it?
Tom is a great fluteplayer and a really nice guy aswell! His first solo album was released last year, it is called “The Long Hard Road”. Tom wanted to record/mix himself, something that ended being a challange and a process that took many years. He writes about this experience on his homepage. (see “CD Trivia”)
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for his next recording🙂
Thanks folk s , thats a Great link of Michael Clarkson there, he is an old friend from the past ,would be great to meet up with him again !
