fiddle tutor west cork

A neighbour of mine is looking for someone to get her 6 yr old daughter started on the fiddle… any suggestions of anyone living bantry/skibbereen area?

Well, as no one else has replied - have you looked up http://comhaltas.ie/ Might be a good starting point - they have branches around the country that do classes for children. There’s a branch in Skib:

Sometimes CCE can be a bit too strong on the fleadh competition side of things, so if that’s not to childs taste, look elsewhere. Try a few local sessions, ask other parents etc. etc.

I would suggest Sean Walsh. He is one of the music teachers for that branch.
