J.B.Vallely: Painter and Musician from Co. Armagh

Before watching these, I wasn’t very sure if J.B. and Brian are one and the same person.

A most talented extended family, or clan. Thanks slainte.

Re: J.B.Vallely: Painter and Musician from Co. Armagh

One of the first cassette tapes I ever bought back in the mid to late 1970s was called: "Song of the Chanter" - am I right that it was the same family?

Re: J.B.Vallely: Painter and Musician from Co. Armagh

Yes, Song Of The Chanter was an Outlet LP/cassette by Brian Vallely & wife Eithne Vallely on fiddle with son Niall Vallely on bodhrán and also Pat Daly on harp and Paul Davis on flute. A wonderful introduction to The Armagh Pipers club.

armaghpipers.com is the website of the organisation. Sheena Vallely is also a talented artist and flute/whistle player.
