Bodhran nightmare - but the enjoyment index is through the ceiling

Re: Bodhran nightmare - but the enjoyment index is through the ceiling

Great video. Reminds me of Sidmouth years ago when there was a bodran workshop in the Anchor pub garden between 1o-12 and they all used to come into the session afterwards. Wasn’t until Thursday that we got got one who could actually play.

looks like a lot of fun. Anyone know name of that tune?

I’m not sure that when I watched that, my personal enjoyment index was anywhere near the ceiling. I know their value as a learning experience, but from a listening standpoint, the only thing worse than a mass bodhran class is a mass tin whistle class, especially when the newbies are working on a tune with lots of notes in the upper octave… 😉

Just be thankful it was whistles, not piccolos!
