Help with tune name?

Was hoping that someone might be able to identify this tune-

X:1
T:(Title)
M:9/8
L:1/8
Q:100
K:G
|: G || DED DEG A2c | BAG AGE G2E | DED DEG A2c | BAG AGE D2 :|
| B || c2A B2G AGE | c2A B2G A2B | c2A B2G AGE | BAG AGE G2 ||
| A/B/ || c2A B2G AGE | cBA B2G GAB | c2A B2G AGE | BAG AGE D2 ||

The first part reminds me of ‘Rolling Waves’/’The Humours of Trim’, but a slip jig, and the second, ‘Elizabeth Kelly’s Delight’? I’m thinking I probably made it up or somehow combined the two, but was hoping someone might recognize it?

Thanks.

Re: Help with tune name?

The first part sounds like a 9/8 version of The Blarney Pilgrim, with a hint of Paddy Be Easy. The second part, as you say, bears some resemblance to Elizabeth Kelly’s Delight, with a hint of The Swaggering Jig.

Re: Help with tune name?

This one rings a bell, but I can’t place it yet. I have a feeling I know it in a different key.

Re: Help with tune name?

Yeah, ‘The Blarney’ is the one that I was thinking of. Since I’ve apparently got it in 9/8, I’ll take a look and see if I can get the rest of it in 9/8.

Thanks.

Re: Help with tune name?

It also sounds a little bit like "Wink and She’ll Follow You".

Re: Help with tune name?

‘Ben’, hadn’t come across ‘Wink and She’ll Follow’ - not a bad tune. Always good to find a new slip jig, there just aren’t that many of them.

Went ahead and wrote out ‘Blarney’ as a slip jig. Thanks for the help.
