I noticed this afternoon that the wikipedia page for the uilleann pipes has been reduced to some basic information and there’s a big notice proclaiming a pending copyright infringement investigation.

There are far better places for uilleann infos, I know, but I’ve never seen a wiki page cordoned off like that before and found it interesting. Anybody know what was plagarized?
Not a clue, but that’s damned interesting, for sure.
Look in the history:
"The content seems to have been copy and pasted from somewhere else, both in style ("warpipes were alive and well") and references to images not on the page(the history of which is here depicted in prints of carvings and pictures from contemporary sources"
Again and again, students make this mistake. It isn’t limited to students, either. All the editor, whoever it was, had to do was cite the source and add quotation marks where necessary. Especially since the citations portion is really why I go to the wiki.
