I thought Mike McGoldrick was just the Composer .

It was not written by Mike McGoldrick. It’s in CRE Volume 2, collected from Bill Harte in Dublin in 1968, published in 1976. Mike McGoldrick was born in 1971.

Still wrong. It’s not called Mike McGoldrick’s. It’s called just plain McGoldrick’s. I have no indication that it was composed by Bill Harte (though I also don’t know that it wasn’t), merely that he played it for Breandan Breathnach in 1968. Here’s what irishtune.info has about it:
