Black and Tans

Black and Tans

Hello Everyone,
Can anyone give me an idea on what I can combine with the song "Come Out Ye Black and Tans"? For some reason I have been having a brain cramp and can’t come up with anything. Any and all suggestions (musically speaking) will be appreciated. Thanks
Lowhistle

Well you could add a polka, at the end of the song. I think it would fit very well, because of the tempo of it. It is nice to hear of someone, having respect for Ireland’s rebel song heritage. Let’s hope that those songs, won’t be lost. The mention of this song, brings back some memories. I sang it, during my schooldays.

Re: Black and Tans

How about Come Out Ye Greens and Golds?

‘Come out ye greens and golds,
Come out and fight me brave and bold,
Tell us how you collected the dole while we fought WWI…’

Not as popular as the other one but there are three colors in the flag and all…

🙂

How about "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye" and one of my favourites "Follow Me Up To Carlow"?
