Tom Ferris, Wexford Town - Accordionst - RIP

Another stalwart buried last week. Tom Ferris had a great store of Traditional Music in his head and had a great memory for the names of the tunes. He won the All Ireland Accordion competition at the Fleadh in 1966 He is seen here, back left of video’ playing the accordion with the Wexford Ceili Band in 1987. In front of Tom is another great Wexford accordion player - George Ross RIP. Rest in peace Tom…….
