Dublin sessions?

Hi all. We’ll be in Dublin 13th June for 3 nights. Can anyone recommend any good sessions to play at (not the ‘touristy’ ones!). Have the Cobblestone on the list already.

I went to the Cobblestone and found, at least on the night I went, that it was young musicians who played very, very fast-- they were very good, but not very friendly. Don’t know if it is like that all the time. But, you should go to the Cobblestone as it is a great pub that really supports the music. My favorite pub was O‘Donoghue’s, which is a true legend in Irish music. Andy Irvine has actually written a song about O’Donoghue’s. I liked the ambience and the people there, and, if you play, you get a discount on pints. Everyone there was friendly. I did not get to Hughes, but I hear that is a good session. In the end, you can’t go wrong.
