De Temps Antan
Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew the names of any of the tunes played by De Temps Antan on their albums Ce Monde Ici Bas, Les Habits De Papier, or À L’anée. Thanks!

Je ne sais pas. Mais ils semblent être un groupe fantastique. Peut-être que vous pourriez leur demander directement info@detempsantan.qc.ca
Sorry, just messing. But do try contacting them via that email.
They have three albums out now? I only have one. I need to get busy, and hunt the others down!
If you click on “buy on iTunes” you’ll see the tunes and songs on all the albums:

De Temps Antan were at the American Festival of Fiddle Tunes 7 or 8 years ago - great band and very nice people. Other bands to check out are Genticorum and Le Vent du Nord if you haven’t already heard them.
Thanks for your replies! It seems like this is one of those bands that put a single name on their sets instead of putting the names of the individual tunes for the track titles. Does anyone have the names for the tunes in the sets?
Great Band - I bought all three of their albums after seeing them play. As far as I can see, only A l’anee gives any clues to the origin of the tunes in the sleeve notes, but I assume you may already have this information.
Hi. I have these three CD’s, all of them have liner notes. I can’t find the cases for the first two at the moment (!), but I remember some of the names. And the tune names for the third one, Ce Monde, are on the inside cover of my copy.
Do you have some favorite track numbers you’re interested in? Cheers
Hello! The tunes I would like to know the names of on Ce Monde are on tracks 2.(medley des couches), 6.(les 3 archets), and the tune at the end of track 9.(Jolie et maquillée). Thanks!
Hi.
Medley des Couches consists of: a) Reel de Concorday (Traditionnel); b) 4040 (P-L Dupuis); c) Les 3 Pommiers (A. Brunet); d) 10 Pound Fiddle (Trad).
Les 3 Archets = a) Reel de la Guimauve (Simon Riopel); b) Reel Drouin (Trad); c) Reel Alfred Achille (Trad).
The credits for the song (track 9) are just : Jolie et Maquillée (Richard Arpin). No mention of the tune at the end. There are no guest musicians on that track, but in the Merci’s, the last to be thanked are “…Simon Beaudry et feu Richard Arpin pour ‘Jolie et Maquillée’ “.
[You probably know that would be the late Richard Arpin, and Simon Beaudry is Éric’s brother from Le Vent du Nord.]
I remember the tune names for À l’Année if some of those are of interest, but I’m drawing a blank for most of Les Habits.
Cheers
Hello! Thank you so much for the tune names! The tunes I am interested in from À l’année are in tracks 3.(suite du laptop), the tune at the end of 4.(pardon ma femme), 6.(péla st-côme), the tune at the end of 10.(intrinifor), the tune in 11.(duvons, mes chers amis buvons), and 12.(les pissenlits bricoleurs). Thanks!
Hi. Suite Du Laptop has three reels : Le Reel De La Pompe à Eau; Le Reel Beaulieu; and the Connemara Stocking.
The reel at the end of Pardon Ma Femme is Le Reel Acrobatique.
I think it’s Réla St-Côme – (?) but I don’t know what it goes into, I had forgotten there was a second tune!
The tune after Intrinifor is Le Reel À Marie-Pierre.
The reel played along with the song, Buvons Mes Chers Amis Buvons, is Reel Jacques Cartier.
I’m pretty sure the last set (Les Pissenlits Bricoleurs) is the two reels : le Reel Des Pissenlits and le Reel Du Bricoleur.
The only other one I can think of is the tune at the end of the song, C’est Ben Dommage, is Le Plancher Croche.
Happy playing!
Cheers
Ooh, as a De Temps Antan fan wanting to learn tunes, having these names of individual tunes in their recordings is awesome. :D Commenting so’s I can find this again later, in my site comment history! Thanks to the providers of the names!
I just found out that they are coming to Rhode Island this fall. Hooray!
