Dots for Indian Point Jig

Dots for Indian Point Jig

The other day I saw a nice jig set on youtube that I like to play on my D whistle. So I searched up them dots for Lanigan’s Ball, Indian Point and Tenpenny Bit so I could practice. However, the Indian Point Jig (https://thesession.org/tunes/10935 ) doesn’t show suitable dots for a D whistle… (I can’t go below my 1st octave d lol ). So am wondering if someone either has suitable dots or a way to transcribe it so it is playable on a whistle. Thank in advance!

The vid I saw:

You might be in difficulty there as it has a big range - so you can’t just move it up a few notes. Usual thing to do here is to play a normal B for the B, below the D etc etc. but it won’t come out with quite the same flow.

Just play the notes below the whistle range an octave up from where they are written. Problem solved.

I added a setting with comments that you may find helpful from the video as he plays it. On flute I would play it as below which is basically the same thing as what was commented above (play the low notes up) but more accurate to what he is playing in the video. I do not like the B section ending - I would change that for myself.

Thanks a lot guys :D

@ John, I am practically a relative newbie on the whistle so I never knew what to do when facing this "issue" :P
