Cheers!
Is crazy to think I was one of those trips. Hope I can get across the pond soon!

The Session is a grand site & it’s nice to know that it’s flourishing - thank you, Jeremy.

Re: TheSession.org in 2018: the numbers

I’d be curious what the trend looks like. Can you give us a growth pereto chart for the last ~18 years :o ?

Wow! It’s nice to see that nearly half of all new tune settings are new tunes! I’m also looking forward to seeing the trips feature grow.

Happy New Year everybody!

Re: TheSession.org in 2018: the numbers

Excuse me, but what are ‘trips’?

Re: TheSession.org in 2018: the numbers

Happy New Year all, keep playing and keep smiling!

Re: TheSession.org in 2018: the numbers

How about average discussion thread replies/ responses? I’d be guessing about 5 or 6 at most these days?

Re: TheSession.org in 2018: the numbers

Thanks again Jeremy, you’ve been doing a great job for what must be getting on for two decades now. It may be due to my less than perfect attendance in this class of late, but I never noticed the “trips” thing either. Nor do I see how to access it. Any clues?

Re: TheSession.org in 2018: the numbers

Winston Smith, you can add a trip from your member profile. Please follow the link cited in Jeremy’s post above for details. I first became aware of this recently added function when I logged in one day last month and immediately saw that Jeremy had a trip planned to our fair city of Seattle for the week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. We messaged him and managed to drag Jeremy into our Wednesday and Thursday night sessions at Shawn O’Donnell’s! It was a great honor to meet the man himself and share some tunes. So “Trips” is a great new tool for networking amongst thesession.org members.
