Re: Help With Tune Names

Based on the identified tunes, I’m thinking this was about Tuesday night in the piano room and I’m wedged back in by the piano? Either that or there were multiple sessions in the week with big runs of Vincent Broderick tunes… (Though maybe that’s right? There are multiple tunes listed around that run that I know and don’t particularly remember playing…)

Re: Help With Tune Names

Damn you’re good, @hnorbeck.

I’m familiar with most of those tunes, but I could never recall the names of more than a half-dozen.

Sounds like a great session!

You definitely wouldn’t have the same set list from a session 20 years ago. It would be fun to compare.

Re: Help With Tune Names

@Sol Foster. It was a Tuesday or Wednesday. It was the only night I saw Liz Caroll come out. A lot of great players out that night.

Thanks everyone for your help. Last two if any takers.

Re: Help With Tune Names

@Banjo Johnny — yeah, Steph and I went into that room when we saw Liz sitting at the bar — figured (correctly) that since she had left, there would now be room. Think we arrived sometime around Trim the Velvet — at least, I remember playing that, and cannot remember playing Kiss the Maid Behind the Barrel before the weekend.
