Tune ID part 2

Tune ID part 2

Hi all. A couple of days ago I posted the first half of a tune set I picked up recently.

Tonight I have been playing through the recording I made on my phone and have worked out the following. Any help IDing this second tune would be great. Thanks folks. Oh, and apologies, bit rusty with abc notation.

X: 1
T: ???
R: Slide
M: 12/8
L: 1/8
K: Dmaj

Re: Tune ID part 2

You know, this is one of the many things I love about music.

I have heard a Yorkshireman play this set of tunes so many times, loved it but have never been able to keep up.

I recorded a snippet on my phone a few months ago, sat with the recording over the weekend for the first tune and tonight for the second, worked them out by ear, noted them in mandolin tab, converted them to abc (a notation I only learnt a few years back by reading up on it on the internet), tested them by using an abc converter website to make sure my notation was correct, shared them and within moments of posting them on here have the names of both tunes.

Great stuff. Thanks to Tommy (above). Thanks for this website too, it has taught me and helped me so much.
