Just received this from a whats app group.
"A friend of mine, ******, had her house broken into last night and her instruments stolen. If you hear of these items going for sale please let me know. A description of the items follows. STOLEN FROM CO OFFALY, between 8.30pm-11pm Weds 11th Sept.
Fiddle, no label inside - bone insert on bridge under E string, repaired parallel cracks from top seam to f hole on left side, crack to right of tailpiece. No chinrest so discolouration where it would otherwise be. Very obvious identifying marks in the middle of the back where someone has scratched it a lot.
Case as pictured (Pedi 11000) containing two bows, one with selotape repair to wrapping, one with spliced repair to the tip."
Lachenal concertina, wooden ends, bone buttons, 32 key C/G, red material under fretwork. Slightly sticky bottom C/G key and the old-style birdy noise buttons that now just squeak".
