I recommend the book, Paddy on the Hardwood: A Journey in Irish Hoops, by Rus Bradburd. Rus goes to Tralee to coach basketball, but he also finds Paddy Jones and takes fiddle lessons, so the book is more about music than basketball. It is a good read. Rus lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico and as a result, Paddy has visited New Mexico, although not for quite a while.
