Suggestions for Reel to go with "The Fox went out on a chilly night"

Suggestions for Reel to go with "The Fox went out on a chilly night"

I’m trying to figure out a good Reel to play during the break in the song "The fox went out on a chilly night" https://youtu.be/1i4dvmKhuP8 but nothing sounds quite right, that I’ve tried. I’m playing it in the Key of G, but thinking of going up for the last verse to Key of A, right after the Reel. Anyone have some suggestions?

Probably something in G so it flows out of the earlier part and your A transition has an effect. Maybe give Fox on the Town a try?

Foxhunter’s Reel?

How about the "rule of fives", progressing from G (song) to tune (D) then A (song last verse)?
Try the Barrowburn Reel as the tune in D? https://thesession.org/tunes/705

Not quite sure why I think it, but Christmas Eve, a great 3 part G reel, might work really well.

Jackie Coleman’s. The bounce is very similar to The Fox…

Thanks all, I’ve got some new songs to try out! Love the "Rule of fives" suggestion, I had forgotten that was even a thing!

Nickel Creek used to go into Subterranean Home Sick Blues (or The Weight) from The Fox and then transitioned back to The Fox for the last verse.

It was pretty amazing to see and hear.
