Favourite duet

Who is your favourite Irish music duet? Mine, Paddy Carty Paddy Fahy very tight and beautiful pace, and lovely east Galway tunes.

May I sneak in a Scottish duo? Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas. I’ve seen them live twice and absolutely love them both.

Re: Favourite duet

Quite agree with you "goose", but unfortunatley, no commercial recordings available. I could post some on Youtube" - watch this space.
So many to choose from - top of my head, Frankie Gavin and Paul Brock, "Tribute To Joe Cooley".

Re: Favourite duet

Kenny, Lucy Farr gave me six cassette tapes of Carty and Fahy but unfortunately over time they have perished. They were recorded at various house sessions during Lucy’s vacations to east Galway.
