B/C Accordion Right Hand ‘Chords’

B/C Accordion Right Hand ‘Chords’

Hello all,

Accordion tutorial books are replete with cuts, rolls, etc, but a common ornamentation technique you hear is pressing multiple buttons on the right hand to add emphasis to a longer note.

I can’t find documentation on the best combination of notes to try or which are possibilities given the keyboard layout (other than the obvious octave of the same note).

Anyone have any pointers or suggestions?

Matt.

Hi Matt, If you go to Melodeon net site and search “Right-hand chords for B/C box” you will find plenty of information/keybord diagrams

Thanks Gel, that looks like it has plenty of material to work with . . .

Have worked out a few for myself, e.g. G, Em, A, Bb even! That’s apart from the “ready-made” ones on your C and B rows.

That is extremely cool. Thanks for that.
