Tunes & Tools (SLOW recordings of tunes)

TUNES & TOOLS WEBSITE:
https://jonantonsson.wixsite.com/tunes

I’ve been wokring on a big project with recording all Irish tunes I know in slow learning-tempo and a bit faster tempo with accompaniment togehter with tools for anyone to use and practice along with. The tunes will keep coming every other sunday.

The Tools include Bodhrán Metronome, Drones for all keys, a Circle of fifht Meditation/practice Drone as well as a Flute Course in three different languages. Hope you find good use of it! Please share it to anyone you think will find this useful!

It’s all free for now, thats why there are adds on the youtube videos. But you can hear all the tunes on the site and the newest ones are edited in a way that they loop themselves forever for your convenience. If you appriciate this work you can donate via these options:

Swish: 0732 638 175 (only in sweden)
Ko-Fi: https://ko-fi.com/jonantonsson
Paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/JonAntonsson

Or just share or give the videos a thumbs up! 🙂

Note: The website is not optimized for phones/tablets yet so it might look weird on those platforms at the moment.

And the "Videos" on youtube are really just a picture (I’m a photographer as well and use my old pictures that sometimes are connected to the tunes). I think you don’t really need to see me play everything and that you HEAR and LEARN better if you only use your ears.

Excellent concept and excellent presentation. And not just useful to flute players… I’ve enjoyed playing along on mandolin to several of the tracks. Before lockdown I used to meet up regularly with a flute player for tunes; playing along with you, Jon, brings back many delightful memories of evenings spent immersed in music and chat!
