Fergus Bogue album - just love this playing

I’ve been listening to loads of Irish players on youtube over lockdown, seeing what styles really touched my ITM heart on all the instruments. And of all the accordion players I have listened to I love Tony McMahon’s but a very close second is Fergus Bogue, from Ballinagh, Co Cavan. Just listening to his album on Spotify:

and there are a few clips on Youtube too.
The thing I like, apart from his lovely relaxed rolling pace, is that he has those continous small variations that you hear in the fiddle playing of someone like Brian Rooney or in the Flute playing of the late Seamus Tansey (admittedly, he is doing it at twice the speed, but they are still there).

Is there anyone else similarly charmed by his music? I put up a youtube link to one of my favourite sets, The Road to Garrison and the Stone of Destiny

Had never heard of him before—thanks for sharing. Lovely stuff!
